27 November 2021, we hosted the Polokwame Pride in collaboration with ANOVA and Phaphama Mzansi. the event was strictly planned for the day only as we noticed the trend of LGBTIQ+ people normalized coming to pride only for the after party. the day event was a success. 

The body of Thapelo Sehata from Bochum was found lying along the road in the early hours of morining, during curfew times. Local organizations mobilized, A memorandum was handed to SAPS Blouberg Station Commander ,  CIL was part of the march, we want to see justice being served and perpetrator/s remain in jail. The case is still under investigations todate.

21 May 2021, Delegates from the 5 Districts of the Province gathered at the Seshego Magistrates Court, to support an LGBTI person and parent who was abused at Moletjie area. The support from Capricorn Ignited LGBT, Vhembe LGBTI, Sekhukhune LGBTI, Mopani LGBTI and Waterberg LAVS-LGBTI brought unity among the LGBTI community of Limpopo. The gathering and support was possible through the assistance from Access Chapter 2, Iranti and the IDAHOBIT National Task Team.  

12 December 2020, we supported the Waterberg District based Organization, LAVS-LGBTI with their first Pride event. It was held at Mahwelereng Park. The March started from the park, all arount Zone 2 and Black Rock heading back to the park. We had the support of the Traffic Department, GenderLinks and the Red Cross. Mokopane, Waterberg was Ignited.

10 September 2020, we held a World Suicide Prevention Day Campaign in collaboration with PFSAQ (Parents, Families and Friends of South African Queers). The activity was conducted at Paledi Mall, Turfloop Mankweng, where Ignite Buddies engaged with local community members to create awareness about Suicide cases that are caused by depression and mental health challenges faced by LGBTIQ people due to lack of support.

07 December 2019, we hosted the Limpopo Pride at Capricorn District, Mankweng Community Hall, Turfloop, with the support from Polokwane Municipality, Mankweng Community Law Advice Office and Anova. The purpose was to move pride events from the City where people are more aware on LGBTIQ matters, to townships and rural areas to create more impact in combating stigma and discrimination. The local event was a success.
